What does this mask update mean?

With proof of full vaccination at check-in, you may now play without masks while on the tennis courts at St. Johns Racquet Center.
Proof of vaccination counts as either bringing in your vaccination card or a clear picture of it, along with your government-issued identification. We will ask if you are comfortable with us recording four pieces of information for ease of entry in the future:
1 - Your full name
2 - Date of birth
3 - Vaccination status
4 - Date of vaccination status shown to our front desk staff
Our staff will record these four pieces of information, so you do not have to present your ID and vaccination card every time you enter the facility.

Masks are required when in the lobby, regardless of vaccination status.

If you have valid and verifiable proof of your COVID-19 vaccination and are two weeks past your 1st Johnson & Johnson vaccine, or 2nd Pfizer/Moderna vaccine, you are allowed to be on the tennis courts without a face covering.

If you do not have valid and verifiable proof of your COVID-19 vaccination or are less than two weeks past your 1st Johnson & Johnson vaccine, or 2nd Pfizer/Moderna vaccine, you are not allowed to be on the tennis courts without a face covering.

This would not have been possible without the coordinated effort of our whole community. Thank you for your continued support and patience! We appreciate it.

Please continue to wear a mask until your check-in with the front desk staff is complete. When you receive your stamp for maskless status, you may then remove your mask. We ask that any person who enters our facility remain respectful of the rules set forth by St. Johns Racquet Center management.

Our 2021 Brochure, with all of our up-to-date information on lessons, drills, and other services, can be found here.

We want to reiterate how important it is for us to make all who come through our doors feel as safe and comfortable as possible while playing the game we all love. Please stay tuned for updates regarding lessons, expanded hours, and other pilot programs as we move forward with our reopening plans.

Thank you with your patience as we move forward and continue to be cautious with our schedule. These are experimental hours and are not indicative of any permanent schedule changes for the facility. Although our hours are expanding, our COVID-safe practices have not changed:

We now have a thermal temperature scanner, courtesy of Pacific Office Automation, that checks every person's temperature who walks through our front door. We do this to avoid any accidental spread of the virus while you're having fun out on the courts.

We also have two industrial Air Scrubbers placed between Courts 1 and 2 and between Courts 2 and 3. Our coaches and community members have played on the courts while reopening and attest that they do not interfere with play in any way!

Bathrooms will be available to the public, but our lockers and showers will not be open for use.

For further questions regarding our facility reopening, please email tennis@ptande.org.
